Today, an online meeting to discuss issues raised at the third meeting of the National Council of Public Trust on the development of human capital, in particular the field of education and science, was held at the university.
Rector of the Non-Profit Joint-Stock Company AUPET Sagintayeva S.S. set the tasks for the university staff to implement reforms aimed at the development of science and education. One of the urgent problems that emerged during the transition to distance learning is the unpreparedness and digital illiteracy of many teachers. In this connection, the decision to conduct advanced training courses for faculty and staff to master digital skills on a free basis was made.
The university team was tasked with joining AUPET in the International League of Universities to increase competitiveness in the international arena. To participate, and most importantly, to obtain worthy positions in the World University Rankings, such as Times Higher Education (THE) and QS Rankings, the overall goal of the AUPET team is to achieve high levels in education and scientific work, conduct basic research.
In this situation, the successful development of the university directly depends on the availability of a decent human resource that can solve the tasks, in addition, the AUPET management puts forward the goal - the creation of a decent personnel reserve.
Rector of AUPET Sagintayeva S.S. called on teaching staff to actively participate in the creation of “Atlas of new professions and competencies”, taking into account the needs of the labor market and professional orientation of educational programs of the university, as well as to intensified work in the development of double-degree programs and various forms of academic mobility of teaching staff and students.
Vice-rector for academic activity Konshin S.V., Vice-rector for scientific and innovative activity Saukhimov A.A. spoke on the issue "On the development of university activities in the areas of "Green Technologies "," Artificial Intelligence "," Energy Efficiency ". The need to introduce increased requirements for scientific and methodological literature produced at the university and a high degree of responsibility of authors for methodological developments was noted. One of the tasks of the university for the development and strengthening of work in the scientific fields said by the head of state is to increase the status of a teacher-researcher.
Vice-rector for educational work Makhmutov S.K. noted the responsibility of the university not only for the professional training of future specialists, but also for the patriotic education of students, the formation of its moral and civic qualities. To support socially vulnerable categories of citizens and young people from a low-income family, it was proposed to move students to hostels who have no technical facilities for distance learning at home.
