On September 25-26, the final of the eighth season of the "Student Energy Challenge" intellectual team competition took place, with the participation of our university’s master’s students.
The competition was organized by the "KAZENERGY" Association in partnership with and supported by Shell Kazakhstan. In the final, 14 teams from 12 universities across Kazakhstan presented their green energy projects to the jury.
The Energo University team "R&D EnergyTech Solutions," consisting of two first-year master's students from the scientific-pedagogical program in "Energy and Electrical Engineering," Rakhat Sharivkhaan and Ilyas Zhumagali, actively participated and presented their own startup project on the topic "Green Energy and Ecology," which proposed integrating solar panels into electric vehicles to increase their range. Although they were just shy of victory, the students admitted that participating in the final gave them valuable experience and motivation to continue developing their project.
