Within the framework of the cooperation agreement signed this spring between the Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications named after Gumarbek Daukeyev and the Ural Federal University named after the first President of Russia B.N.Yeltsin (Ekaterinburg, Russia), a meeting of the faculty of Energo University with Sergey Kokin, Deputy Director of the Ural Power Engineering Institute of UrFU, took place.
The colleagues discussed options for cooperation in the field of power engineering - from internships for teachers, students and scientists to the possibility of creating a consortium to participate in international grant projects.
In addition, the professor from UrFU got acquainted with the advanced educational laboratories of Energo University: the only Siemens relay protection training center in Central Asia, the first ENERGYNET.LAB knowledge factory in Kazakhstan to train specialists for the needs of digital energy, as well as scientific laboratories on renewable energy opened as part of the USAID regional program «Power the Future».
