Students of Energo University (Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications named after Gumarbek Daukeev) won prizes in the XVI National Student Subject Olympiad among students of higher educational institutions of Kazakhstan in the educational program "Computer Engineering and Software" and the specialty 6B061 "Information and Communication Technologies".
The Olympiad was held in two rounds: theoretical and practical cases. Students underwent testing in all disciplines, demonstrating deep knowledge and understanding of the subjects, as well as solving practical programming tasks, showcasing their ingenuity and unconventional thinking.
The Energo University team, consisting of Maksim Satanov, Asset Kenes, and Yerkebulan Sapar, under the guidance of Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Associate Professor, Head of the "IT Engineering" Department- Layla Muratbekovna Tukkenova, took second place overall. Additionally, Yerkebulan Sapar also won third place in the individual competition.
