The Director of the Institute of Communication and Space Engineering of Energo University (Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications named after Gumarbek Daukeev) - Kuanysh Alipbayev attended the international forum KazanForum-2024, which took place in Kazan (Republic of Tatarstan, Russia) at Kazan Federal University. He participated in the session: «UNESCO Thematic Initiative. Astronomy and World Heritage: Role in Expanding Research Capacity and Nominating for the UNESCO List».
In addition, he got acquainted with the Institute of Physics of KFU with the aim of further developing relations between the universities of the two countries.
«We visited the departments of astronomy and space geodesy, and radiophysics», said Kuanysh Alipbayev, «and discussed various forms of cooperation – from academic mobility of students and faculty to the possibility of conducting joint research projects and implementing double degree programs».
