On April 29-30, the XVI Republican Student Subject Olympiad on the educational program "Life Safety and Environmental Protection" in the direction of "Life Safety" among students of higher educational institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held at the base of al-Farabi Kazakh National University.
Teams from 11 universities of the country participated in the event. Energo University (Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications named after Gumbarbek Daukeev) was represented by a team of students of the educational program 6B11201 "Life Safety and Environmental Protection" - Gulmerey Serikbai, Aigerim Dauletkerai, and a student of the educational program 6B11202 "Engineering Ecology and Safety in Energy" Zarina Hasenova, under the guidance of the senior lecturer of the Department of Ecology and Engineering Management, E.M. Tyshchenko.
As a result of the Olympiad, our student Aigerim Dauletkerai took third place in the individual standings.
