On September 29, the laboratory "Cyber-Physical Systems and Smart Technologies" of the Almaty University of Energy and Communications is holding a webinar. The theme is “Application of the capabilities of the LabVIEW software environment and National Instruments digital platforms - DAQ and ELVIS III in scientific research and educational activities”.
National Instruments is one of the recognized leaders in the development of hardware and software environments for automation, measurement, experimentation, diagnostics and control. Close and long-term cooperation with this company has developed at the Department "Automation and Control" of the Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications named after Gumarbek Daukeyev. This collaboration is almost 15 years old. Currently, students of bachelor's and master's programs, lecturers and researchers of the Department "Automation and Control" can work with such a powerful digital platform as NI ELVIS III. It was purchased by the university in 2021.
Scientists of the research laboratory "Cyber-Physical Systems and Smart Technologies" have became interested in digital platforms and technologies of "National Instruments". Professors and lecturers of the Department "Automation and Control", including the head of the laboratory, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Irbulat Turemuratovich Utepbergenov, are the scientists of this laboratory.
He is the author of more than thirty published papers related to the webinar topics, including 1 monograph and 2 textbooks in editions “Lamberti”on Automatic Control Theory and Electronics, Information and Digital Technologies and NI (National Instruments) platforms. The main speaker of the webinar is Serik Algozhaevich Kulmamirov, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Academician of the International Academy of Informatization, Associate Professor of the Department “Automation and Control” of AUPET
