The Ministry of Science and Higher Education, together with the Ministry of Education, launched a single contact center (phone number 1450).
Kazakhstanis can get answers to their questions about education by calling 1450.
The call center is open weekdays from 9:00 to 18:30. Saturday and Sunday are days off.
“Every day, the call center receives an average of more than 300 calls. Citizens apply on various issues of preschool, secondary, technical and vocational, higher and postgraduate education. Experts give explanations to each applicant. Most of all, students and parents are interested in how to enter, how to choose a university, how to transfer from one university to another and other issues,” said Kamil Akatov, Vice Minister of Science and Higher Education.
