The Department for Language Studies held the Decade of the Freshman on the theme "Akhmet Baitursynuly is a great personality on the way to the ideal of the nation" from September 12 to 21, 2022.
1st year students demonstrated their knowledge on the ttheme “Akhmet Baitursynuly is a poet, scientist, teacher of the nation, figure of Alash” at the first stage of the decade, which took place from September 12-15. 23 students advanced to the next final stage. They fully revealed the greatness of the poet, scientist, teacher of the nation, the personality of Akhmet Baitursynuly.
The 2nd stage was held on September 21 in the assembly hall of building D. An educational quiz competition on the theme "The life and work of A. Baitursynuly" was held. The Head of the Department for Language Studies, Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor Tuleup Meyrimkul Mukhamedyarovna solemnly opened an educational quiz competition. “Akhmet Baitursynov is an iconic figure of our country, a scientist, poet, teacher of the people, figure Alash. He had secret profound knowledge. He was a great man who dedicated his life to the revival of national statehood and self-consciousness. Ahmet Baitursynuly fought for the fate and language of his native Kazakh people. He left us the art of the word as a legacy,” said Tuleup Meirimkul Mukhamedyarovna.
The 2nd stage was carried out with the aim of replenishing one's knowledge about Akhmet Baitursynov, studying his work, developing the cognitive level of students. They were able to quickly, correctly and fully answer the questions of the cognitive quiz.
Interesting slides and a video about Akhmet Baitursynuly were presented to the attention of students during the quiz competition. Library employee Bazarbayeva Janylgan organized a book exhibition of works by Akhmet Baitursynov called "Teacher of our people Akhmet Baitursynuly". 1st year students of groups: RETk-21-7 - Shugyl Amangeldy; EE-22-9 - Aisha Yerzhankyzy; ACk-22-1 - Perizat Targyn; RETk-21-1 - Zhumabek Yergalym; SETk-22-1 - Zere toursynali took part in the 2nd stage. They showed their creativity.
At the end of the decade, the following prizes were awarded:
I place - student of group EE-22-3 - Kujahmet Ali;
II place - student of the group ISSk-22-2 - Mykhaev Korganbek;
3rd place - students of groups:
EEk-22-3 - Erniyaz Asem, EEk-22-4 - Raimbek Elbolat.
The winners were awarded with diplomas.
The following students took an active part in the decade: Zerde Zinagazov - ISR-22-1, Zhumabek Yergalym - RETk-21-1, Symbat Lesbek - AC-22-6, Islam Islamenuly - SE-22-3, Madi Badigulov - SE- 22-3.
The chairman of the jury, candidate of philological sciences, associate professor Dosmakhanova Raikul Amandykovna thanked the students who took an active part in the decade of freshmen, congratulated the winners and presented certificates.
