Open Day \"Ghalam Open Day\" at the National Space Center in Astana

Today, September 20, 2022, the Rector of AUPET Saule Sagintayeva, together with the Director of the Institute of Telecommunications and Space Engineering Kuanysh Alipbayev, have taken part in the "Ghalam Open Day" at the National Space Center in Astana.

Chairman of the Aerospace Committee of the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan Oralmaganbaetov Baubek Zhetkergenovich; Chairman of the Board of JSC NC "Kazakhstan Garysh Sapary" Halyk kaharmany and cosmonaut Aimbetov Aidyn Akanovich delivered welcoming speeches to the participants of the event.

The center organized a sightseeing tour of the enterprise. The main activity of "Ghalam" is the production of spacecraft, elements and components of space technology, as well as industrial products.

One of the areas of cooperation between AUPET and "Ghalam" is the internship by our students at their production base.

The framework agreement signed today between the Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications named after Gumarbek Daukeyev and LLP "Ghalam" on the intention to create a spacecraft will give a new impetus to mutually beneficial cooperation.
