In our university, student self-government is carried out by the Trade Union Committee of Students of AUPET named after G. Zh. Daukeyev. It covers all interests of students and protects their rights.
The Student Council in the dormitories of the university is one of the structural subdivisions of the Trade Union Committee of Students of AUPET. The Student Council is a structural subdivision of student self-government in hostels.
Elections of Student Councils among those living in hostels were held from September 12 to 14, 2022.
Elections of the Student Council were held in accordance with the Regulations “On the Student Council”.
Most of the students living in hostels, the head of the Department of Educational work Nurzhan Ali, the senior curator of the Department of educational work Kalila Almaz, the chairman of the trade union committee of students Aydin Temirbekov, curators for educational work in the hostels took part in the elections.
The rules for living in a hostel, the rights and obligations of the Student Council were explained in detail to the students at the meeting. The new composition of the Student Councils in the hostels and their leaders were selected after all the necessary procedures.
A student of the group SEk-20-2 Aruzhan Maksut Aruzhan was elected Chairman of the 1st hostel.
Student of the group EEk-20–7 Jardem Rasul as chairman of the 2nd hostel. Berikbol Dosymzhan, a student of the group EEk-20-6, was elected as a vice-chairman.
Miras Yembergenov, a student of the group ACk-20-10, was elected chairman of the 3rd hostel.
After the end of the elections, each team set tasks for itself, shared plans and proposals for maintaining order in the hostels.
