Programming Olympiad among 1st year students of all specialties in an offline format

The Department “IT Engineering” together with the Department of Science and Commercialization are holding a programming Olympiad among 1st year students of all specialties in an offline format.

Location of the event: auditorium 300A.

Start date of the Olympiad: September 20, 2022 at 14:00.

Duration: 3 hours.

Registration is open until September 19, 23:59.

The Olympiad complies with the regulations for holding the World Championship among student teams of the Association of Computing Machinery:

1. Verification of solutions is carried out directly during the tournament. For each submission, participants immediately receive a response with the results of its testing.

2. Participants are ranked by the number of solved problems. The more problems solved, the higher the participant's place. Among the participants who solved the same number of problems, the participants are selected according to the number of penalty points. The fewer penalty points, the higher the place of the participant.

3. The participant is the one who completely solved the problem and successfully passed all the tests. Partial solutions do not count.

4. Penalty points for a participant are added up from the sum of penalty points for all solved problems of the participant. Unsolved problems do not contribute to penalty points.

When solving problems for participants, the time is recorded from the beginning of the tournament to the moment of surrender, additional time plus 20 minutes is given for each unsolved problem. If you try to retake the program, the results are not taken into account.
