Round table dedicated to the Message of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev “A Just State. United nation. A prosperous society” (dated September 1, 2022) was held at the Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications named after Gumarbek Daukeyev on September 6, 2022. The key objective of this event was the exchange of views on the goals and objectives set by the head of state in his last Message.
The moderators of the round table were: Abrahmatova Gulnara Abraikulovna, Candidate of Philosophical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department “Social Disciplines” of AUPET named after Gumarbek Daukeyev and Kabdushev Bolat Zholamanovich, Head of the Department “Social Disciplines”.
Makhmutov Serik Kapanovich, vice-rector for social and educational work, greeted the participants of the round table, especially first-year students. He noted that political and economic reforms require every young person to increase their level of knowledge.
Berlibaev Bakdaulet Turbekuly, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor of the Department “Social Sciences”, emphasized that any transformations are successfully progressing if there are competent specialists. He addressed the youth with the words that knowledge is their wealth.
Deputy of the Maslikhat of Almaty, member of the working group of the Mazhilis of the Parliament on amendments to the law "on housing relations" Mukhamedgaliev Talgat Ablaevich took part in the meeting online. The guest, addressing the participants of the round table, said that political and economic changes are taking place in the country. The meaning of the ongoing reforms is to invest in the younger generation, develop human resources, and strengthen the social component of the state. Control over the fulfillment of the tasks set is required by civil society.
Mukhambedyarova Altynai Tuleuovna, Doctor of Political Sciences, Professor of the Department “Social Disciplines” of AUPET, paid special attention to the issues of health care, education and upbringing of young people.
Alinov Amangeldi Imanmalikuly, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Social Disciplines of AUPET, dwelled on social issues related to improving the life of the younger generation: increasing the period of maternity payments, transferring part of the National Fund funds to children's accounts, providing soft loans for education.
The participants in the discussion of the Message supported the goals of consolidating Kazakhstani society: the need to preserve unity and harmony in society, help maintain harmonious interethnic and interfaith relations and give a tough rebuff to any form of radicalism and encroachment on our state sovereignty and territorial integrity.
