As part of the "A Day with a Professional" project, the first meeting with energy students took place at Energo University's ENERGYNET.LAB, hosted by the Tavrida Electric company. Our guest was Nurdaulet Rakhimovich Kosbaev, a graduate of our university and the General Director of Mangystaumunayenergo LLP.
Also participating in the meeting were Serik Zhalmukhanov, Deputy Head of Production Energy Service at Mangystaumunayenergo LLP, and Bahruz Makharov, Director of Tavrida Electric Astana LLP.
During the event, professional power engineers and students discussed career building in the energy sector, addressing issues such as energy security, sustainable development, and the implementation of new technologies. Participants talked about the current state of the energy sector, strategic plans for infrastructure modernization, and the adoption of renewable energy sources.
Additionally, the challenges facing the industry, including climate change, economic instability, and the need to adapt to new market conditions, were also discussed.
