Energo University hosted a guest lecture by Mikhail Chirkov, Chairman of the Council of the Almaty Amateur Radio League, on the topic "The practice of using the Moon as a passive reflector during two-way radio communications." The organizer was the Department of Space Engineering of the Institute of Communication and Space Engineering.
The lecture, dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the university, attracted students and teachers interested in modern radio communication methods. Mikhail Chirkov spoke in detail about the principles of operation of radio systems using the Moon as a passive reflector, about the technical features of this method and its importance for the development of space engineering.
The participants had the opportunity to ask questions, discuss the prospects of using technology, as well as deepen their knowledge in the field of radio communications and astrotechnics.
