A meeting between Energo University and representatives of the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ) was held at the university. The parties discussed collaboration opportunities in the energy sector, focusing on research initiatives and joint project implementation.
The key topics of discussion included the integration of renewable energy sources (RES) and energy storage systems (ESS) into Kazakhstan’s power grid, ensuring compliance with grid regulations. Another major topic was the joint development and modernization of educational programs and courses in electrical engineering (EE) for both academic purposes and professional development.
During the meeting, Ernar Amitov, Director of the Institute of Energy and Green Technologies at Energo University, expressed confidence that collaboration with GIZ will contribute to scientific advancements at the university and help develop practical solutions to energy challenges.
