By the order of the Chairman of the Committee for Quality Assurance in Science and Higher Education of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Rat Berdibayev, a professor at the Department of Cybersecurity of the Institute of Automation and Information Technologies at Energo University, has been awarded the academic title of Associate Professor in the field of Computer Science and Informatics.
Rat Shyndaliyevich has been working at our university for many years. He holds a PhD in Political Science, is a professor, an academician of the International Academy of Informatization, and an honored worker of education of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Berdibayev is the author of 150 scientific publications, 3 monographs, and 26 patents and copyright certificates. A significant portion of his research is indexed in international databases such as Scopus, WOS, and Derwent. With his direct involvement, the university established the Scientific and Technical Center for Information Security Issues and the Educational and Scientific Laboratory Security of wireless networks and construction of cryptosystems. He has also contributed to building partnerships with leading universities in the CIS and Europe.
