Every year, students of Energo University get a chance to visit the Baikonur cosmodrome and get to see the rocket launch firsthand. On April 8, a group of students who excelled in their studies and student life watched the launch of a launch vehicle directly from the cosmodrome. The event was organized by the Institute of Communication and Space Engineering and the Career Centre of the University.
The trip to the cosmodrome included not only watching the rocket launch, but also visiting several launch pads, assembly shops, as well as real-life communication with engineers who work on space projects.
The opportunity to watch the rocket launch live from the university's Mission Control Center was organized for the students who remained in Almaty.
