Aydin Aimbetov, Kazakh cosmonaut, National Hero of Kazakhstan and Major General of the Air Force of the Republic of Kazakhstan visited Energo University and held a meeting with students. The guest shared his experience and spoke about the unique employment opportunities in one of the key companies in the aerospace industry of Kazakhstan, JSC JV Baiterek. The organizers of the meeting were the Career Centre and the Institute of Communication and Space Engineering of the University.
Aydin Aimbetov spoke about the work on the creation of the Baiterek space rocket complex, which is the largest joint Kazakh Russian project in the post-Soviet space, noting that this project is a major political step towards Kazakhstan's entry into the club of space states and is aimed at significantly reducing the harmful effects of launch vehicle operations from the Baikonur cosmodrome.
Currently, the company has announced the opening of 150 engineering vacancies, among them both specialized aerospace, energy, IT, communications and transport. The company is ready to accept young specialists without work experience, to train and raise professionals from them. All new employees and their families will be provided with housing.
