Students of the Energo University took second place in the final of the Defense Tech hackathon, which took place on May 5 in Astana and was timed to coincide with the 80th anniversary of Victory in World War II.
Among the 13 invited universities, the team presented a development - an intelligent autonomous chatbot for analyzing internal regulatory documents. For the innovative solution, the students received a prize of 1,500,000 tenge, as well as an offer from the Ministry of Defense to implement the project.
The composition of the team:
- Dmitry Sinishin and Sergey Shiryaev — 4th year, "Information Systems"
- Damir Mertl — 2nd year, Computer Engineering and Software The supervisor is professor-practitioner Azamat Kalpebayev.
"The development of our students was highly appreciated - this is a step towards real application in the field of defense," Azamat Kalpebayev said.
