On May 10, an agreement was signed in Beijing to create an alliance that includes Energo University, North China Electric Power University, China State Energy Corporation Huadian Group Co., Ltd and Xinjiang University.
The agreement provides for the establishment of a laboratory for the development of sustainable energy solutions, including upgrading the flexibility of coal—fired power units, integrating source—grid—load-storage systems, and developing multi-energy complementary solutions. In addition, the creation of the alliance opens wide opportunities for students of Energo University to obtain a dual degree in the 2+2 program and complete an internship at leading modern energy enterprises in China.
It is also planned to conduct targeted trainings for Huadian Group employees involved in projects in Central Asian countries as part of the alliance's work. The training will focus on developing technical competencies, managerial skills and strengthening local human resources.
