Energo University took an active part in the conference of the University of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO University), which is taking place on May 12-13, 2025 in Urumqi (XUAR, PRC). The participation of Energo University in the event was an important step towards deepening international cooperation within the SCO, promoting Kazakhstan's experience in engineering and energy education, as well as expanding opportunities for academic exchange and partnership.
The Conference coincided with the Ninth Meeting of the Ministers of Education of the SCO member states, which emphasized its high status and importance in the development of international cooperation in the field of education.
Our university continues to actively develop international contacts, support modern educational initiatives and contribute to the training of highly qualified personnel for the sustainable development of the region.
On May 10, Energo University formed an alliance with North China Electric Power University, the Chinese state-owned energy corporation Huadian Group Co., Ltd., and Xinjiang University for cooperation in personnel training, academic exchange of students under the 2+2 program, and joint scientific programs.
