On May 17, an Open Day was held at the New York Film Academy branch in Kazakhstan.
Applicants, NYFA graduates of various years, filmmakers and celebrities gathered on the territory of the Park of Creative Industries of the Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications (Energo University). Answers were given to questions about admission to the branch of the world-class creative university, whose branch is opening in Kazakhstan for the first time, and master classes were held.
Classes will begin on September 29. The training will be conducted by teachers from Hollywood and New York in training studios with modern equipment according to high NYFA standards with an emphasis on practice (90% of the course), just like in the USA. Upon completion of the one-year course, a NYFA diploma will be awarded, graduates will receive a full-fledged creative portfolio with which they can immediately start working or continue their studies in the United States to obtain a bachelor's or master's degree with a progress to the second year of study.
