One of the brightest youth festivals in the field of engineering, robotics and technologies of the future, Zhylandy Fest – 2025, was held in the village of Zhylandy, Zhetysu region. This event brought together more than 200 talented schoolchildren and students from all over the country.
The festival program includes three areas: the Future Race ecological race along the Zhylandy-Tonkerys route, the Zhylandy International First Championship international robotics tournament, and the Open Day university fair.
Representatives of Energo University took part in the Future Race. The electric car of the Energo Racers team went to the start of the race (head - Maksut Anuar Kuanyshuly, lecturer of the Department of Electronic Engineering; 2nd - 3rd year students - Magzhan Ulasbek, SIk 22-1, Dmitry Popov, KVT-23-9, Anatoly Vakhovsky, EE-23-7a, Aybek Zhebegen, KVT-23-9). In addition to the Energo Racers, 8 more experimental electric vehicles assembled by students took part in the race. The participants did not just compete on the track but demonstrated their engineering solutions for sustainable transport and renewable energy. The winners were determined by evaluating not only the speed of transport, but also the amount of energy consumed.
