On May 10, an alliance agreement was signed in Beijing, which included Energo University, North China Power Electric University, China State Energy Corporation Huadian Group Co., Ltd and Xinjiang University. The document provides for the creation of a laboratory for the development of sustainable energy solutions, including upgrading the flexibility of coal–fired power units, integrating source–network–load-storage systems and developing multi-energy complementary solutions. In addition, the creation of the alliance has opened wide opportunities for students from Kazakhstan to obtain a double degree and complete an internship at leading modern energy enterprises in China.
As part of the implementation of this agreement, 7 Energo University students have already enrolled in the North China Power Electric University (North China Power Electric University) under the Master's degree program, full funding for their studies, accommodation, and scholarships is covered by China Huadian Corporation. Today, China Huadian Corporation Ltd is one of the Top 5 largest energy corporations in China, with an installed capacity of 217 gigawatts and assets estimated at $150 billion.
The visit of the delegation of China Huadian Corporation Ltd to Almaty at Energo University on June 23 is an important step towards strengthening cooperation between China's largest energy corporation and Kazakhstan University, a leader in training personnel for energy in Central Asia.
The delegation was headed by Mr. Zu Bin, General Director of China Huadian Corporation Ltd.
During the meeting, specific steps for in-depth cooperation were discussed, including joint financing of research projects, as well as equipping laboratories that meet the requirements of China Huadian Corporation for personnel training.
During the visit, partners from China Huadian Corporation were shown the capabilities of Energo University to develop the professional and scientific potential of students during a campus tour of scientific laboratories, and the university's research projects were also presented.
