On July 3, 2025, a solemn graduation ceremony was held at the Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications named after Gumarbek Daukeyev (Energo University).
This year, more than 1,400 young specialists graduated from the university, including 73 master's students who completed advanced training in key areas of engineering, information technology and energy.
The Rector of AUPET, G.S. Nygymetov, addressed the graduates, their parents, and faculty with parting words and best wishes. Also, the ceremony was attended by N.B. Zhusip, a member of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, who read the official congratulatory letter on the university’s 50th anniversary from M.S. Ashimbaev, Chairman of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Among the graduates of 2025 are holders of honors diplomas, winners of international hackathons and student olympiads, as well as participants in research and technological projects implemented in collaboration with industry partners. Many of them have already received job offers from leading companies in Kazakhstan and abroad.
